2008 has seen students of Mount Morgan Primary participate in a variety of arts experiences. This year, senior students were involved in the Rockhampton Choral Festival for the first time in over ten years. Junior students gained a third place for their performance of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” in the years two and three Novelty Choir section at the Eisteddfod.

Students of all ages had a chance to show off and practice their moves when the school was visited by Hip Hop Dance Instructors from Brisbane.

The school has been visited by a number of travellng performing artists, from Indigenous Dancers to Opera Queensland singers. 2009 is sure to be another inspiring and entertaining year of the Arts at Mount Morgan Central.
