Welcome to Mount Morgan Central State School! This website provides an excellent way for visitors to introduce themselves to our school and allows our existing school community to access regularly updated news and information.

Mount Morgan Central presently caters for over two hundred and seventy students from Prep through to year seven.

The success of the school is underpinned by a dedicated and professional staff committed to delivering a high quality curriculum responsive to the needs of all learners within a supportive environment. Our school P&C has further enhanced our provisions for students and strongly supports the vision of our school through its actions and endeavours.

The school is esteemed for its ability to cater for a diverse range of learners and its commitment to ensuring indigenous perspectives are embedded in its curriculum. Daily literacy and numeracy blocks are supported by comprehensive learning support and intervention programs. The school’s computer laboratory and newly purchased interactive white board, ensure students are able to access the latest in Information Technology. Opportunities in the Arts and Sports ensure a well rounded educational experience for students in our care.

Over the last two years, the school has undergone substantial transformations to its facilities. This includes the construction of a new Prep teaching block, an enormous shaded play area, new play equipment (x2!), landscaped school entrance and newly turfed and irrigated school oval.
